Sara Gooding Easterlin Jowers age 68, widow of the late Edward W. Jowers, departed this life Saturday, May 16, 2009

Sara was a native of Fairfax and a daughter of Louise Simmons Jowers and the late Woodrow Gooding. She was a Cosmetologist and the owner of Your Beauty Shop for 35 years. Sara was also a lifelong member of Fairfax First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather Louise Simmons and Laurie Jowers of Fairfax; two daughters, Marian Easterlin and husband Brien Hutto of Barnwell and Janet E. Charleston and husband Dwight of Fairfax; two grandchildren, Justin Hartley Williams and Sidney Marie Williams; three brothers and their wives, Nathan and Marjorie Gooding of Little Mtn., Jimmy and Donna Gooding of Columbia, and Charles and Patty Gooding of Barnwell; two sisters and their husbands, Emma G. and Bobby Thompson of Round O and Betty G. and Bob Bowers of Columbia
