Ladale made his transition in September of 1990, after a lengthy illness. I had known Ladale all of my life, we were in kindergarten together, attending Irving School. Ladale was a great person, good friend, and had a wondeful sense of humor.
Ladale and I go way back to grade school. One of my fondest memories of Ladale is him trying to hang with the "real" basketball players on the court. Needless to say, my friend wasn't much of a ball player, but he was a tremendous friend. I love & miss you...Brian S.
