This website is a great idea, well done Sarah Beth/Linda. I work 12hr shifts, 7-7, rotate days & nights, so my schedule won't always align with meetings. Working 1/4/09, but if meetings are posted soon enough, I could request off. I'm in the area, so if I can help in any way, just let me know. Thanx for all you do!

Thanks for this ya'll(hey I AM in Texas). When I saw how useful and fun the website my wife's class did I was hoping someone would do one for ours. Thanks so much for the effort. If I can do anything via long distance, let me know.

This is great!! I also work 12 hour shifts, & I am committed on 1/4/09 but would like to attend later meetings & contribute anything I can. Let me know if you need a banner or sign, I could probably talk my brother, Lance DeMond of Arrow Sign & Outdoor Advertising, to make/donate something for our class. It will be great getting to know everyone all over again.

Thank you for putting together this website. Being in NC I am disconnected with anything Alton. Wonderful to catch up with everyone.

I've been keeping connected with a lot of classmates on Facebook, but this is great to just have a site all to ourselves! Thanks, Sarah Beth, for all the time you've put into this. I hope to get up to IL for the reunion next summer so I can hug some old friends :)

Hi everyone! So nice to see all the familiar names! I am planning on attending the meeting on Sunday, Feb 22. Please note that the Mardi Gras parade is the previous Saturday but at our age I should be home by 5:00 pm and ready for another get together at 2:00 pm Sunday ;)

Hi! classmates it is nice to see some familiar names on this site. I have many memories of high school, but the last 2 years were at J.B Johnson in the L.P.N. class or at some hospital. To the class of 84 L.P.N class Sheila says hi! that class was so hard but we made it by the grace of God. I don't know about you but my social life was little too none(smile). Prom was nice only if it wasn't raining that night, I was too clean for all that rain(HA! HA!). Maybe someone can direct me on getting a c/o 84 year book, after 25 years that's the only thing I don't have. Sarah you have done a wonderful job with this page. I can't believe little old Alton has a social website, we have really come up in technology. Well until I see you all at the class reunion by for know. Sarah I'm going to try to make it to the meeting on Feb 22.

Very classy website! I was wondering if there would be a 25 year reunion. Thank you and everyone for all of your hard work in pulling this together!

Thanks for the wonderful website. It was great looking up everyones names. I was also saddened by the many classmates we have lost these past years. They will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you at the upcoming REUNION

Must have missed you folks at Regal today. I was late. Either no one was there or I didn't recognize you. 25 years will do that. Maybe next time.

We are so sad that we are not going to be able to attend the reunion. Cannot believe we will not be attending our 25th high school reunion and seeing so many wonderful friends. But early morning on August 9th is the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and this is a really important year for Team Talbert. At the time of last year's race, we could not participate on Team Talbert with the many others supporting us because I was in the midst of chemo. This year, however, we will absolutely be participating with the amazing folks that have walked with us during this journey. Take care and we hope to see lots of pictures! Denise & Willie

Well, Well, Well, looks like part of the Gang is here, hello all from Virginia, I just found out today about the reunion and am unsure If I could make it, but I will try. My wife will not be able to attend as she will be in the middle of a transfer to the USS Enterprise CVN-65 and in school.

Sorry but my kids and I won't be in town until the next day so I will miss the party. It would be interesting to see how much people have changed over the years.

have fun at the reunion and be safe getting home after.

Just wondering if the page is actively maintained.

I see some classmates on the infernal FB. I know this forum is old school, which is EXACTLY why I like it.  Hope all of you are doing well.  Hit me up here and on FB and stay in touch.  I lost touch with one of my closest friends after HS, touched base with him briefly a few years ago, then he died this year (Our dear friend Ken Beres).  Talk to people NOW.  Have coffee NOW.  Don't wait until it is too late.

Hi Richard. This is Jodi Parrino (Silveus) I remember you. I also remember Ken Beres. I had a bad car accident when I was 17 and he came to see me in the hospital. So sad to hear he passed away.  I think we even went to grade school together. I was really shy so you may not remember, but as I remember you were too. Hope you are doing well and it is so true to not wait to keep in touch.
