Where have the years gone? I miss being 16 and in high school! Life sure didn't turn out the way I expected but I learned to make lemonade from the lemons! My life has been rich and full of blessings; just a bit different........
My greatest joy comes from my two daughters.....boy, am I ever lucky.
I started teaching in Amesbury right after college graduation. I taught over a period of 10 years and the birth of my children. After, I bought a quilt shop and ran a small business for 15 years. Then, I went back to school, became recertified, earned my masters degree, and went back into teaching. I started studying Spanish and took my first trip to Mexico.
I FELL IN LOVE WITH MEXICO and now have a home in San Miguel de Allende.....such fun.
Last year, I took a year's leave from school and moved to Telluride, CO as a private tutor for a family with three children. What an amazing year and opportunity. They have four planes so travel was quick and efficient! We spent time in Argentina, the Baja, Mexico on their boat, CA, Lake Powell, Az, Cuttyhunk Island.........how lucky could I get?
So, now, have moved back to Amesbury and it feels good to be back in town. I'm teaching again but busy planning a trip to Peru this summer. My daughters and I will hike the 4 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I'll go on to Mexico for a few weeks, after.
