What we've been doing in the LAST 10 YEARS, that's quite a while? Ok...
2000-2002: Auburn Alabama, swimming & school & violin, NCAA Division I National Swimming Champion, AU Women's Team, 2002, Auburn Community Orchestra member.
2002-2005: Texas A&M, TAMU Women's Swim Team, All American, swimming & school & violin, received B.S. in Animal Science, Texas A&M Orchestra member.
2005 January-May: lived in Italy, performed a research project (The Italian Veterinarian’s Role in Public Health/Bioterrorism/Zoonoses), study abroad, attended the late Pope’s Funeral, interviewed on TV, travelled throughout Italy (Venice, Rome, Florence, Capri, Pompeii, Cinque Terre, Milan, Pisa, Naples, Genoa, Arezzo, Luca, Montepulciano, Siena, Perugia, Orvieto, Verona, Pienze, Assisi, Castiglion Fiorentino, Cortona, Ravenna), travelled to England & Switzerland. Basically was IN LOVE WITH Italy, obviously.
2006 Spring: waitress at Café Eccel, member of country band, electric violin, College Station, TX.
2006-2009: lived in Grenada, Caribbean, first 3 years of Veterinary School at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine.
2009-2010: Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, Clinical final year at Edinburgh University Dick Vet School of Veterinary Medicine.
Oct/Nov 2009: USDA APHIS Centers of Epidemiology and Animal Health, VS Veterinary Field Services, Ft. Collins, Colorado & TX, infectious disease surveillance, sampling.
Dec 2009: Thailand, elephant research project
June 2010: Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, D.V.M. from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine.

•2004 Dallas White Rock Marathon, Athena Division Winner
•2007 Coeur D’Alene Ironman Triathlon, 10th Place finisher in age group = 140.6 miles total
•Started a charity/free medicine project in Grenada, performed 5 clinics across the country, “One Health, One Medicine” Clinics initiated in 2007: www.onehealthonemedicine.org; combination of human medicine/veterinary medicine/public health

•2008 climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro 20,000 ft, the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, Tanzania
•2008: Uganda/Tanzania/Kenya/Egypt: Seroprevalence Research Project darting kobs in the bush, testing kobs/cattle/goats for Brucellosis, publication in progress; visited Cairo/pyramids/etc.

•2009: Edinburgh Marathon: ran to raise money for Multiple Myeloma

Summary: I LOVE the adventures in life, meeting new people, learning their stories, and hearing their passions. I hope it just continues to get better and better...starting with a great 10 yr reunion??
