When we all graduated, it seemed like our 20 year reunion was going to be so far in the future that we'd never get there. I just can't believe that we all are in our late 30's, with families and careers. Remember when 30 was old?

We moved to Westminster, SC about 5 years ago, and i didn't know that I was moving to Mayberry. As much as I love it here, this area is about 30 years behind the rest of the world. Main street has exactly 2 red lights, and if you blink you miss the whole town, but crime is almost nonexistance, and people still leave their doors unlocked when they leave for work in the mornings.

About 3 1/2 years ago, I opened up a Hair Salon, and suprisingly, it's doing really well. So well in fact, that i'm in the process of opening up 2 more locations. Who would have thought it, i'm a chain!!! Life has been good to my family, and we have much to be grateful for.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but high school is kind of a blur. I'm really good with remembering names, but some of the faces escape me.

One thing I will never forget is Daltons' "thought of the day". There are still times some of those thoughts of wisdom will pop back into my head, and other times that I wonder where in the world that he came up with that stuff.

Senior year is probably when I remember the most. Football games, Senior Trip, Graduation, Chorale. It drives my son crazy when I try to explain how different things were way back then.

That's something that really suprises me about now versus then. My son's class just isn't as connected as we were. Even though we all had our own little groups, we seemed like a unit, like we all belonged together. That just doesn't seem to be the case now.

1- My children.
2- My home.
3- Owning a business, and really contributing to the community.
