From Grady I went to Emory to find a doctor to marry. Instead, I married a wonderful Ga. Tech engineer. Heavenly life with a successful career the past thirty years helping teachers to save for retirement.

In 2020 to 2022, I wrote a book titled "There Was Only One Rubye". It is tales about my mother Rubye written by her only daughter - me!

Alvin, I just want to give thanks to you for being this life-long class president. Please keep the position as long as possible. You're great at keeping us all informed. Looking forward to a reunion in the coming future. Do we have to wait for 2025?

Don was truly my only gentile boyfriend! And I know he really loved me!

He once drove us to see L'Alouette at Agnes Scott. It was a play in french about Joan of Arc.  Apparently the car slid into a ditch so he brought me home really late!  Oh my - my dad gave him such an evil eye when he brought me home!  Had Don been Jewish, I don't think my father would have cared so much.  We have laughed through the years with that shared memory.  I am so saddened that I didn't have a chance to say goodbye.

I occassionally would call Don, "out of the blue."  I'd pass a Porsche Carrera sportscar that I knew Don loved. He would make me feel like the Queen of England had called him. Really special.

So many of us were touched by Don's friendship. He will be missed!

Marvin and I kissed and hugged at the 70th birthday party.  I think he was fighting an illness then - but we were all so happy to see him.  No one ever had a sour thought about Marvin - he was a sweet soul.  Rest in peace.

Hi Niki. Hope your birthday was wonderful. So sad to learn you lost your husband last year. That's just NOT supposed to happen! Glad we'll be seeing you in August. Here I am with Janie Friedman Bitterman last year..

Just remembering our clarinet competition. Do you still play? Not me! And I know I used to ride my bike to your house. Did we practice together? And you took me to church once. Regards to your mom. I look forward to seeing you again at the reunion.
