AUBURN < Miss Elizabeth Mary Wetzel, 48, of Auburn, passed away at Auburn Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007. A native and lifelong resident of Auburn, Elizabeth was the daughter of George E. Wetzel and Vera Warter Wetzel. A graduate of Auburn High School, Elizabeth was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church, and resided at North Brook for the past few years. Surviving are her brother, Karl and his wife, Gayle, Lehigh Acres, Fla.; aunts and uncles. Joseph and Thelma Dolan, Saratoga Springs, Robert and Esther Dunn, Olean, and several cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father in 1991 and her mother in 2005. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Holy Family Church with the Rev. Denis Shaw as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph#"s Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Farrell"s Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn.
