 MARSHFIELD, Mass. | James J. Greene, of Marshfield, Mass. died June 22, 2012, at the age of 57. A true lover of all things, he is survived by his wife Pam (Smith), and his two sons, Nolin and Brandt; beloved brother of Charles Greene and his wife, Kathleen, Michael Greene, and Meg Yurco, and her husband, Phillip, of Auburn; son of Mary (Nolin) Greene and the late James Greene, also of Auburn. A graduate of Auburn High School and Boston University, Jim worked for 26 years as an occupational therapist for the Milton (Mass.) Public Schools. Jim was a lover of nature's beauty, a rock-and-roll enthusiast and an avid tennis player. Above all, however, Jim was a husband whose love knew no limits and a father whose playful kindness will live on in the essence of his children. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. Route 139, Marshfield, Mass. from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27. A memorial service will be held at the North Community Church, 72 Old Main St., Marshfield Hills, Mass. at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28. A memorial service will be held in Auburn, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marshfield Animal Shelter and the Marshfield Food Pantry.
