HYDE PARK - Ann M. Balloni, 55, a 30-year Hyde Park resident, and formerly of Auburn, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. A graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, Mrs. Balloni was a substitute teacher with the Hyde Park Central School District. Ann was very active with the Hyde Park Theater Parents on many school productions. Born in Rome on April 18, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marguerite Keyes Vetter. On June 11, 1977, in Auburn, Ann married Ernest F. Balloni. Mr. Balloni survives at home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, E. J., Erin L. and Megan M. Balloni, all of Hyde Park; two sisters, Nancy Vetter, of Saugerties, and Patti Young, of Modesto, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. Services for Ann will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming.
