UNION SPRINGS - Michael R. Kott, 50, husband of Kathleen Wojnowicz Kott, of Seminary Street, Union Springs, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 2, 2010. Born in Auburn, he was the son of Ted Sr. and Stella Kott and was employed by Nucor of Auburn. Michael was a loving husband and a good father who enjoyed vacationing and spending time with his family. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed doing home improvement projects. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Wojnowicz Kott; his sons, Ryan and Justin; and daughter, Molly; his step-children, Megan and T.J.; granddaughter, Lillie Grace; his mother, Stella Kott; brothers, Ron, Jack (Mary), and Ted Jr. (Judy); his mother-in-law, Pam (Bill) Mahaney; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sara and Richard Wojnowicz; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
