ELBRIDGE < Dean A. LaDue, 79, of Elbridge, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at St. Joseph"s Hospital. Born in Weedsport, he was the son Abram and Katherine Morrill LaDue. Dean was a 1946 graduate of Weedsport High School. He earned a bachelor"s degree from Oswego State and a master"s degree from Brockport State. Dean also did graduate work at the University of Rochester. He was a teacher at Port Byron and Skaneateles, and later at Auburn High School where he retired in 1983. Dean was an Army veteran of WW II. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Walhizer LaDue; two brothers, Richard and Kevin; a sister, Dale Robertson, several nieces and nephews. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bush Funeral Home, Elbridge. Spring burial will be in Baptist Rural Cemetery, Sodus Center. Friends may call 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 120 E. I was a student of both Dean LaDue and his wife. Both were excellent teachers and I felt I got an A-1 education from both. I remember them both well and can see them in my mind still today.
