In Memory Of

Stephen Lesch - Class Of 1971

Stephen Brian Lesch of Lower Merion, PA, passed away peacefully April 13, 2016. He was born on December 24, 1953 in Auburn, NY to Dr. Gerard Lesch and Margaret Train Lesch. Steve attended Alma College in Alma, Michigan and received a BA in Sociology. Following a full career with Eastman Kodak he worked for Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate Company. His family referred to him as “The Glue” as he regularly brought them together for celebrations and reunions. He was a man with a gracious, hospitable personality, confidence, and athleticism. Most of all he was a man of character, intelligence, integrity, incredible generosity and a great sense of humor. He lived every moment loving his three children whom he considered amazing. He regularly told them he loved them and always reached out with a hug. He valued family and friends above all else in life and he let you know it in his actions and words. Steve is survived by three children, Margaret (husband, Andrew Rich), Conor (fiancee, Jessica Weyhmuller) and Kendre, and a fourth he loved as a son, Marcus, their mother, Carol Anderson, two grand children, Sophia and Quinn, four brothers and many nieces and nephews who shared a special bond with him. Though he will be greatly missed, he will be loved and honored forever by all who knew him. A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ALS Association.
