Donna Kazanivsky (Dunchak) - Class Of 1972

 

FLEMING | Donna Jean Dunchak, 57, of Fleming, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 25, 2013. She was the wife of Alan Dunchak.

Donna Jean was a life resident of Auburn. She was a special education teacher at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES. She was a communicant of SS. Peter and Paul Church. She was a very active member and past president of the Ukrainian National Club. She enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kate Dunchak, of Auburn; sons, Michael Dunchak, of Auburn, and Daniel Dunchak (Cathysue), of the Outer Banks, N.C. Also surviving are her parents, Zenon and Tillie Durniak Kazanivsky, of Auburn; her sister, Darlene (Anthony) D’Alberto, of Cape Coral, Fla.; brothers, Michael and John Kazanivsky (Michelle), of Auburn; several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Donna Jean will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., and 10 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. (today) Thursday at the funeral home.
