Anthony Zalone III age 58 of Wrightsville, entered into eternal rest from injuries he sustained on Saturday morning, August 22,2015.

Mr. Zalone was born in Auburn, N.Y. to the late Anthony Zalone II and Virginia Luzack Zalone. He served his country with the Navy. Mr. Zalone was Catholic by faith.

Mr. Zalone was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Myssee Smith Thompson; three grandchildren, Allen Michael Smith, and Cori and Victoria Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Brantley-Powell Funeral Home. Military burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pastor Chad Waller will be the officiating minister.

Mr. Zalone is survived by his wife, Wanda Snow Zalone of Wrightsville; one step-son, Michael Smith of Winter Haven, FL; three brothers, Danny (Maggie) Zalone of  West Pointe, NY, Steve Zalone of Auburn, NY, and David (Dawn) Zalone of Auburn, NY; three sisters, Peggy Sanders of Long Island, NY, Linda(Mark) Virginia of Cicero, NY, and Ginny Sherman of Auburn, NY; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Brantley-Powell Funeral Home Friday night August 28, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M.
