I have been married to my very first girlfriend (Judith) for the past 29 years. We have one daughter (Andrea) who will graduate from Campbell University in May of this year. Five days after our class reunion in 2009, I will have been employed at Texasgulf/PCS Phosphate for 35 years. Yep, went there pretty soon after high school. Oddly enough, staying in the area to work has provided the opportunity to see a lot of places that I otherwise may not have. Through my different positions at PCS, I've had the opportunity to visit Edmonton Alberta, Canada, San Diego CA, Las Vegas NV, Boston MS, Geismar LA, Miami FL, Bonita Springs FL, and Lake City FL. After all the years it still brightens the day to run into Winfred Hamilton, Richard Nanney, Jerrell Midgett, Gary Cutler, and some of the other classmates who either stayed around or return for visits from time to time.

I'm glad I read Alton Tyre's post to this section before adding mine. I'm not admitting if any or all of what he posted about me is true or if he's having a senior moment. :-) I do admit that Ms. Simpson was on top of everything but she wouldn't last two days with today's school rules. They don't allow pulling ears, slaps back of the head or stepping on toes with heels. Again, no independent confirmations from me, but I heard classmates' stories!! :-)
One of the funniest things I heard during my school years was on the school bus and it came from Libby Lewis. I'm not sure how she ever found out differently but she said "I used to think that black women had Chocolate Milk when they had babies."
