Where do I begin???

I attended Beaufort Community College after high school graduation and obtained an Associate's Degree in Cosmetology. Continued working in the field and was employed by the former Singer Furniture, Co. Continued pursuing my education in the areas of: nursing assistant I & II, emergency medical technician, substitute teaching certification, certified bus driver, and community support services training.

I've been preaching since 1981. Currently I am the pastor of St. Cindy's Holiness Church in Blounts Creek, NC which was founded and built by my late grandmother, LuCindy C. Moore. I enjoy preaching the gospel and singing.

I enjoy cooking. I cook approximately 15-25 cakes each week (depending on orders, and holidays are always busier). I sell produce and baked goods at the farmer's market in Washington, NC. I've been doing so since the 1980's.

I won the distinguished honor of being titled "Mother of the Year" by the Washington Daily News in May 2007. I have proudly worn the title since that time. My mother, Hazel K. Moore, also previously held the title.

I lost my brother, Lewis A. Moore, in May 1999. My grandmother LuCindy Moore, passed away in May 2004, and my mother passed away in July 2006. They were all so near and dear to me and I miss them each day.

My grandson, "BJ" is the apple of my eye. I love my children and I thank God for each of them every day. I feel blessed that God allowed me to mother such lovely ladies and I am honored by their continued success. They truly make their mother proud.
