School Story:
Do you remember me? Someone just was talking to me about the 30th reunion. Does anyone know if it will be possible to attend by webcam? My nickname was Kit in high school, although I use my birthname Kanton Levine now. I was pretty famous, but have bad memory, so that I cannot remember even people I hung out with daily by name although there was a lot of people that I remember. I think some people knew me without knowing my name. I am in the process of trying to get photographs of myself from high school from family. I had multi-colored hair at one point. There was also some negatitivy that would be silly to not acknowledge to some people, as they are welcome to contact me in a friendly way even if that was not the nature of things long ago, there is much I can explain privately, as my focus is getting a chance to reconnect with people I hung out with before it is really too late. It was mostly all good times for me no matter how it looked to some, and I miss you all!
The thing is that I had undiagnosed high-functioning autism, although it would have been called Asperger's at the time, and nowadays autistic people do not use functioning labels like "high functioning" but basically back then people did not know normal seeming people who could talk and such as autistic which has now changed. It was/is a social disability that I am learning about as a family member got diagnosed.
My life has been colorful. Double majored in electrical engineering and music theory first at ACC then at University of Texas. Burned out after taking 17 hours a semester for 5 years with an almost 4.0, but at that point I was not sleeping for 5 days at a time and dropped out to work for the University of Texas Student Union for 7 years, assisting students in student events by helping them to make posters and other events. Then left and worked at a farm that sold rare seeds for 2 years where I did clerical work and helped them redesign their seed catalog and learned a lot about rare vegetables and farming. Then I got married and did medical billing for 7 years, got divorced, now into making music, abstract art, and am looking into professional writing, and am very happy and live in a very beautiful portion of California.
