Comments:

I have been working 14 years in Silicon Valley in the internet technical services industry, and several fortune 500 tech giants. I live a diverse and alternative lifestyle, travel a lot for work, and bought a beautiful home in the Santa Cruz mountains where I enjoy sport motorcycle riding, and many other high adventure activities.

I still pursue my love of technical theater and media production via my home based business called Smashwolf Productions

School Story:

About 20 years ago, the ALHS choir went to Chicago for a festival. We ate at Dick's Last resort, a seafood and jazz club, and we actually "sang for our food". This week, I was back in Chicago, and walked by Dick's and all those memories came back. I am planning to return there Tuesday evening, February 1st, with some friends to experience Dick's again.

In my pursuit of the arts, I have spent decades involved in theatrical costuming. My favorite has always been creature effects. Back in high school I LOVED horror flicks. and monsters. Ever since I saw American Werewolf in London, I have been enamored by stories and visuals of transformation, and creatures of the imagination. When I went to the University of Toledo's college of Theater, Film, and Dance, I really discovered my love ofnot only special effects costuming and make-up, I also discovered my love of character performance. I landed part time paid gigs working as a mascot for Warner Brothers as Taz, and Sylvester, and I am still active in the costume construction and performance world as a hobby. This picture is of me performing as a fox character created by my friend Katie Lipton from "Feast of Dreams" I have also created costumes of my own that have won amateur class first prize awards at some shows. This all has gone beyond a hobby, and become a second family to me.

While I I was in college, the costuming gigs were a fun odd-job, but it hasn't transitioned into a career (yet?). But, I still stay involved as a hobby in an amateur sense.

Here is a picture of the inside of my workshop as I prep a professional werewolf costume for Halloween 2010. Halloween has alway been a fun day for me that I obviously take far more seriously than most folks.

This is one of my favorite pictures of home. Breakfast at dawn, looking across the dining room table at the Santa Cruz mountains, with the fog filled San Lorenzo valley below.

I live in this "dream house" with my family that consists of my boyfriend Carl,of 14 years, and my girlfriend, Elisa, of 4 years. and 2 other bachelors that rent the extra rooms.

Yes, I live a VERY alternative lifestyle, but don't feel the need to be politically correct around me. It takes a thick skin, a lot of self confidence, and a sense of humor to be me.

Did I mention I like motorcycles? Granted I am not a hard core racer, but I do ride a lot.
