Associate in Applied Science Degree in "Medical Transcription" from Pitt Community College in 1981

My son (Colt) is in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. He just got called back in active duty and is stationed in Chesapeake, VA for a year. He also works at Colt's Guns in Winterville. He is married to Keehln Ross and they have a baby girl (Ella James) who is almost one.

I really enjoy going to concerts (southern gospel, country, etc.) In the last few months I have seen Blake Shelton, Kool and the Gang, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, and some southern gospel groups in the area. I have tickets to see Cher, the Eagles, Ronnie Milsap and Three Dog Night in the months ahead. I just love attending these events. For some reason, I feel really good for days afterwards. Other than that - I do alot of staying home, exercising and helping out with my mom and dad.

I don't have a particular event in mind; but I do feel I had a very good childhood. I had so many good times going to ballgames, Darryls, having parties & get-togethers at my house, attending Collard Festivals, homecoming weeks, etc. I'm so thankful that I had parents who encouraged us to stay at home and enjoy our friends here in Ayden.

I didn't really fit into any specific group - I didn't wear expensive clothing, drive expensive cars, etc.; but I tried to be nice to everyone. I hope I never offended anyone, and if I did, I'm certainly very sorry.

So - even though I can't pick a single incident - I would just like to say that my classmates/friends were the best thing that ever happened to me during my junior & high school experience. I think the "Class of '79" is the best class ever and I'll always believe it!! I love each & every one of you!!!
