Good memories of Lourdes, but better memories of the University of New Orleans: My two great Almae Matres.

Spent just 5 years in Lourdes, but 12 years living at the UNO married student apartments - so you understand the stronger ties :). No offense.

Very interesting that some view Lourdes as our only valid Alma Mater. Being connected to our Alma Mater (or Almae Matres) could be a rewarding experience, no doubt. However, when it becomes the center of our existence, THAT is troublesome.

Q: What have I done since graduation?
A: Life has been good - no complaints. Three great kids and a wonderful hubby. Couldn't ask for more.
