After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Tulane Med, I became Chief of Vascular Surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital, Seattle WA. Although the position at Sacred Heart was both lucrative and professionally satisfying, after 15 years, I decided to call it a career and return home.
...Okay, seriously, do you really want to know what I've been doing for the past 20? See Tammie Prater's and then pick up here...
A few weeks after graduating LSU in Anthropology, I began my archaeological career. Through the years working at Coastal Enviornments, Inc., private firm, Main Street, Baton Rouge, I got to experience all aspects of the science, including, fieldwork, labwork, publication, and curation. Met a lot of great friends and colleagues.
After 7 years of Archaeology, I gave up the field. Kevin, my brother, and I are buying my dad's ServiceMaster Disaster Restoration franchise, and that keeps us unbelievably busy.
But, the cause that has been most gratifying in my life is saving abused and/or abandoned animals. Eric and I have 8 acres in Ethel (between Clinton and St. Francisville), so that we can support all the animals that we rescue.
That sums me up. See everyone tomorrow.
