Kim Hawkins Corkern

What a wild ride since High School. Married right out of college to Kevin... many of you met him at the 10 year reunion. He was in the fraternity house right next to our sorority house at LSU. We actually met on a blind date.

We had three wonderful children; but although they are wonderful, they are also my biggest challenges. Kevin, my middle child, has always had big medical issues. Just God's way of keeping me on my toes.

I lost my dad to a horrible battle with cancer in 94. I recently lost my mom in 2006 to Diabetes. It's a very weird feeling... to have both your parents gone.

The kids keep me very busy. Soccer for all three, which is something I didn't know much about. But I am learning! My daughter plays in the band... another thing I know nothing about. I have learned so much being a MOM!

Things I will never forget!! The infamous "Eagle Speech"; Friday night football games and festivities after!, all our "dances" (WHAT DANCES, we weren't suppose to be dancing); Hunter's CAMP; Spring Break at the Big House on the BAY; Driving the big stationwagon with the 8-track tape player; Going to Wednesday night youth with Kim S. and Dionne... We never made it!!; The day it snowed!;
