School Story
Let me preface my story with a comment: I feel very greatful that I attended such a good school. I think we are all very lucky that we received an education from St. Joseph's. The older I get, the more I appreciate it.
However, back in the day, I did push the limit at times, so here goes!
One of the most memorable moments was when I snuck out to the parking lot just before the lunch break (Miss Delacroix let us out a few minutes early that day)to get some change out of my car for a coke. While walking through the parking lot, I was approached by a man whose pants were around his ankles. He was also making some obscene gestures. I started screaming, arms flailing in the air, and ran as fast as I could into the office. Well, I got in trouble, had to give a description to a policeman, was scolded again by Sr. Carolyn AND Sr. Judith, and was then sent home to get over my shock!
All of that for a coke!
I was a much more obedient student after that!!
