Yes.......20 years has really gone by already. Doesn't seem possible after all I feel as young as I did in high school!! Within a year of high school I had gotten married and had my first child....my son Spencer....then my daughter Taylor.....and then my other son Connor....all by the age of 23!! WOW!! Looking back I think I was crazy! But seriously my kids are great and I am glad to have them....(but I am also glad to still be young and have them be grown soon). Spencer graduated from Harper in 2009 and is attending KCC this fall, Taylor will be a senior at Harper and Connor will be a sophomore at Harper. Connor plays football for the JV team and Taylor has been a cheerleader on the varsity team until last year. She decided not to do it this year much to my disappointment. I was married to their father for 17 long years and after many trials and shoulds and should nots I am finally divorced!!

Over the years I have stayed right here in Battle Creek and worked all over the place. But as it turns out that was a great thing. I focused on my kids and about two years ago I met back up with an old flame from good old Harper Creek!! We met in 7th grade here. She only went to Harper for one year but we instantly had a connection. Of course back then it was quite the gossip topic and of course I denied I had a huge crush on her. You may remember her....Mitzi Harrison. She was quite the standout bad girl back then. After much family turmoil (it still continues) we hadn't spoken for about 23 years and working one of my odd jobs I ran into her and the rest is history. Surprise.....yes I'm gay!! We live on the North end of town and I am the happiest I have ever been!!!

I am currently unemployed due to our awesome economy but it is great to be spending the time off and enjoying my summer. I should've went back to school but having three kids so young and no support and no time.....it just never happened. So currently I am thinking about finally going back to school.

I haven't traveled much really as my life didn't support it other than a vaction here and there. Currently my favorite thing to do is go see my favorite singer in the entire world......JOAN JETT whenever I can. So far we've seen her twice this summer and have another one planned in two weeks. Even though I don't get any support from my family (other than my kids and my brother Cody) I have some really great friends that have stood by me through it all. Shannon Ryan and Michelle Bucklin have been great to me all these years and we are still pretty close. I also have some other great friends that are like family to me and I wouldn't trade them for the world. So in a nutshell that is my simple but happy little life!

I really don't have many great school memories as most people loved to talk about me. I could never figure out why my life was so interesting to talk about....LOL..... I never fit in anywhere really. But I do have a few funny memories.....Holly Rich and I would leave Ms. Telfer's class (with a hall pass) and sneak out into the teacher's parking lot and get high....pretty regularly....and go back to class high as kites!! We also did the same in Mrs. Horn's art class and used the bathroom by the shop class. We were lucky we never got caught!! I remember Mr. Johans always busting me for skipping school. Man I hated that guy!! I also remember our senior year and Angie Sanchez and I had to stay 3 extra days in the library after all the other seniors got out early because we had skipped school so much we wouldn't have graduated otherwise! Wow that is sad!! LOL....LOL....I also remember all the mean girls and the smoking bathroom.....I hated going in there! I was always afraid I was going to get my ass kicked! I remember Missy Grubb and Caryn Engster and Lori Heinz and I all working at Wendy's together.....what a group we were!! Missy and I used to be late for Mr. Stevens French class almost every day and we never sat in our seats....we sat on the radiator. LOL.....LOL....I guess I have a few more memories than I thought. I am curious to see everyone at our reunion this year!
