Elsie Acosta Fuertes

After graduation from NVGCHS, took Pre- Nursing Course at St. Louis University, Baguio City. Then I came to England as a student nurse in 1974; the only vacancy was Psychiatric Nursing. My mother said take it and treat it as "a stepping stone". I like it and 36 years later, I'm still here!

We were required to present a folk dance for our practical exam. in PE by Mrs. Bagasao. We were running out of time and we still could not decide what to do. I volunteered to teach the group, we passed, but I earned a nickname "Binadyong"(that was the name of the folk dance!) By the way, we were called "Poor Poor Two" !
