Mike and I were good friends through high school and in his first year at SJ State. We swam and played water polo on the Carlmont teams and played frosh water polo against each other when he was at SJ State and I was at Stanford. As team mates, we hung out a lot scoring a jiffy burger down at five points and spending time with Jim Roumasset and Jay Watson (also team mates). It is sad to hear of his passing, but he remains a fond memory in our hearts.
Too sad. Mike was so full of life. Great times with the swimmers, picking apricots (food fight), camping at Yosemite, and double-dating with Jane and Kathy. Mike would always come up with fun things to do.
Great guy, Mike was. I shared a couple of classes with him and remember him as an upbeat fellow, full of good cheer. I think he was a swimmer or water polo palyer for the Scots.
