So Sorry to read that Russ has passed away.  He was having such a good time at our reunion just a few weeks ago. This just goes to show us we need to enjoy life and have a good time as often as we can. Wishes for good health to all of us.

What a shock to hear the news of Russ passing away. He truly was a good guy...always nice to everyone.  My deepest sympathy goes out to his family at this time.  And I know he had many treasured friends from Carlmont...my heart goes out to all of you.   I will always picture him with a big smile and a twinkle in his eye.

RIP dear Russ.   We will all meet again.

Russ was a wonderful man and my heart goes out to his family and friends.  In the  times I interacted with Russ, he was always a fine gentleman and I am saddened by our loss of him.  Phil Shecter

Having just seen Russ at the reunion a few weeks ago, it seems unbelieveable that he has passed away.  We were shocked and so sorrowed. He and Roland were friends in high school, and were able to enjoy company when Russ lived in Redding several years ago. They had many enjoyable fishing days.  God bless Russ, you will be missed.   Roland and Jo Anne Harris

We were just laughing together at our 55th.   Such a loss.   A gentle man and a gentleman through and through.   Dealt some unfair situations since Carlmont that showed the true character of this fine human being.   I know that he will rest well knowing he took the high road.   Incredible loss to so many.

I am so sorry to hear about his passing.  I had not seen him for many years, but I always liked him.  He was such a nice person.  We were in the same class for two years in grammar school.  Barbara DuFrane Daly RIP

It was a real shock to get the news of the passing of Russ. Just had dinner a few weeks ago with him, his wife and several CHS '61 classmates. Russ was a good friend and we always got together when I made it up to NorCal and we talked on the phone often. I am real going to miss him and his humor. We spent a lot of great times in high school working on our cars. Russ was a true friend, a great guy and I surely will miss him. Rest now my good friend - Jim
