Jonathan Shimberg

I have been an attorney in private practice since 1974. I AM RETIRING shortly after the reunion. Although divorced from fellow classmate Judy Weinberg Kemp. we have raised two amazing kids together with our new spouses. My wife and I have been partners 24 hours a day for 37 years in our own firm representing small business owners and people with estate planning and family law needs. For the past 13 years the four of us have spent time with our grandchildren. We are lucky enough that they live within 25 minutes of our houses Considering what the world has been going through, life is good. Still collecting rock and roll music - Have many many terabytes of music and happy to share it.

I was a history major who specialized in working at WBCR. If I remember correctly, my History senior paper was on the history of rock and roll. Bob Weiland and I toyed with the idea of buying a radio station in Manistique MI...would have been a very different life from the one I have led. Beloit allowed us to spread our wings with the field term and the flexibility of the Beloit Plan. I loved my 4 years there.
