Hi Tom....thanks for sharing your memories of Kem...I remember Kem fondly but did not have the depth of friendship you had....He was a great guy....and a tough football player....I see you live in Australia...that is fascinating...would love to get there someday...I lived in Quebec for 4 years....a great experience to live in another country....hope to see you someday....I see Greg Smith who lives in CA quite a bit and I am sure he would say hello (He is traveling in Portugal right now)...Bob Bell and Jim Slater, who I see sometimes, are both doing well...

Wow, hearing about Kem's death hurts and makes me very sad at the seemingly increasingly rapid passing of time without contact with long lost friends. He was a partner in crime during many adventures during our Berea days. I have far too many excellent and vivid memories to pass all on here. But some are needed. I hope that some of you will remember these and also have some of your own.

Some good lunch time stoushes on the Fairwood playground saw us many times in Principal Seabrook's office. He once offered to put our names on chairs in the office to reserve a seat! The great six grade group in Mr Wicklife's class. Kem and Debbie Turney as leads in the six grade operetta. The joy and pride from Roehm's undefeated football team. The crushing collapse in our last year of football at BHS. Both injured all year, we had to help each other to put on and take off the shoulder pads since neither could left our arms above our heads.  Having to wake up my dad at 2:30 to get $50 to bail Kem after a late night painting "67" on numerous underpasses. "Make sure that you get the paint off your forehead before getting to the police station!" Many cold beers at Skips on Friday nights. And many others...

Great friend. How has almost 45 years gone by since we last talked?
