School Story:
There are so many school stories I have no idea which would have been my favorite! I had so many different friends at BHS and did so many different things. I remember being one of the first two females to joing the A-V club. I even got a special picture in the year book for that. I remember being in the marching and concert band, timers, Masquers, and throwing a red and blue garter into the crowd at every home basketball game in the 68-69 season. I am not sure WHY I did that, but I believe one of the 69 "senior men" dared me? I also remember being maced at the Toledo Libby Regional basketball game that same season, which isn't really funny but seems like nothing compared to the things that happen to kids these days! I also remember us beating the pants off (was it Maple Heights?) and finding my car windows smashed out after the game! I believe the Basketball Player bus was also vandalized. SORE LOSERS!!!! I remember in 1970 triple dating to the Senior Prom in a station wagon! And I have one unsolved mystery in my life.....why did the seniors in our class of 71 go around putting their hands on their shoulder and saying, "A-dee"???? And last but not least, I remember my favorite heart throb, whose name was forever emblazoned on that bridge that went over part of (was it) First or Front street? ARCHIE PITTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BRAVES!!!!!
