After graduation I stayed around for a few years, bartending and other odd jobs. I then married and moved to Miami, Florida where I enjoyed the next 17 years in a bikini on the most beautiful beaches in the world. I worked as a Project Manager for several prominent Miami builders.
I then moved to Charleston, S. Carolina for a few years where I wrote and sold a cookbook. 14 years ago I moved to Atlanta Georgia and started a new construction cleaning company and have enjoyed a thriving construction business in one of the busiest cities in the U.S. I am currently working with an artist friend and will hopefully be launching a unique Handbag Collection.
In between moves I traveled extensively, still can't get enough of seeing new places and am always planning the next trip. My mom still lives in Berea and I come home 3 or 4 times a year to be with her and my brothers and sisters who stayed behind. I am a big supporter of all things Berea. My dad was a Berea Fireman and they have a special place in my heart.
My dream is to either eventually come home (full circle) and buy a tremendous house on the Lake BUT I also have my eye on 17 acres at the foot of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. I may open up a Spiritual center then deed the land to the Park when I pass on. So many plans, so little time. Tick, tick, tick.
When my mom read this she said no one will believe me, I sound like a long winded braggart. I reminded her that the Berea School System produced alot of winners. Hey, I'm no Jim Tressel but I have made my mark. The real question is, am I happy? I reply, 1,000,000 X YES!!!
