We have lived in Memphis,Tennessee since military retirement in 1983. Worked for Georgia-Pacific 20 years, Plant Manager for 12 years, retiring in 2003.

When I look back at the years at Wenonah, I remember the encouraging words; not from teachers but from fellow students. They saw in me what I could not see in myself. There was rarely a harsh word even when it was warranted. I remember very clearly over 250 names from those years; however, two stand out more than others for their kindness; Carolyn Robertson, and underclass mate, Alfra Dean Fisher. Emmett Bryant was a good friend as well as many others. I will forever give thanks to the Lord God Almighty for the experience.
