Scarlet Darlene Pearman Bishop

Married Gary Wayne Bishop, Sept. 11, 1969. We spent our life together in the Prices Fork community surrounded by friends and family and had 36 years of wonderful happiness including raising two children and then spending every opportunty we could with our grandchildren. Gary passed away in 2005 leaving a large void in our lives.

For several years, when my children were younger, I ran a home daycare service. Now, I spend most of my time doing volunteer and social work, by assisting my family and friends and being an active member in my church and community.

I spent quality days and time helping and sitting with my oldest grandchildren; now that they are grown up, I help take care of my 9 year old grandson and help out and spend time with my family and am involved in community and church events.

My oldest grandchild, Justin, is 26 years old and is employed by Virginia Tech and enjoys many outdoor activities, including riding motor cycles with his Dad and other family. My granddaughter is 23, a graduate of Radford University and currently employed locally and recently engaged to be married.

My son and daughter in law are employed with Moog Industries and my daughter with Virginia Tech in Payroll and my son in law at Plastics One in Roanoke.
