-78: Graduated VT with BS in Civil Engineering, moved back to NJ, worked for Amerada Hess as a Technical Buyer
-80: Got tired of oil business, called Ricky D., he got me an interview & job with Va. State Health Department as an Environmental Engineer working in Culpepper, VA.
-82: Had enough of inspecting sewage treatment plants, decided to go back to VT for graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering. Originally planned to work in Nuclear field but wound up in Aerospace ... go figure!
-95: After grad. school, moved to Silver Springs, MD and worked for Swales Aerospace as a Thermal Engineer.
-97: Still worked for Swales Aerospace but started doing consulting work on the side in '95 developing software for insurance industry in the evenings. Finished project in '96 ... business partner introduced me to Amy ... invited her to Rome 3 weeks later (courtesy of Aegon Ins.) ... she turned me down ... friend told her she was a horse's ass for turning down a free trip to Rome ... she changed her mind ... had a great time ... got married in '97.
-99: Left Swales Aerospace soon after I got married, went out on my own developing software for insurance industry.
-2004: Maintaining a business became too much of a hassle so I went back to work for Swales Aerospace. I don't think I played more than 5 rounds of golf during those 2 years ... what was I thinking?
-Present: My boss, Cindy Edgerton, left Swales and started EDGE Space Systems in 2003. I jumped ship in 2004 to join her, were on the winning team for the Goddard Space Flight Center MSES-IIA main engineering support contract in 2006 and currently serve as the company's Chief Engineer.
