I would love to reconnect with the former Tracie Timperman... I went to three different high schools, and she was my best friend. We never talked again after one really stupid day...

Life can be so challenging, so poetic, so tragic, so beautiful, so heartbreaking... but always so deeply worth all of it.

I found a great peace down here living on a large lake, watching the Florida Sandhill Cranes have their awesome chicks every spring. Sunsets, amazing owls near dusk.

I think it took me living all across the United States... living in a cottage right on the ocean, seeing the sun setting out west as a full moon was rising clear across on the other side of the sky... I live in varying degrees of being awestruck and being devastated, to learn that we create our own Heaven or Hell here on earth.

We should make routines with our loved ones while we can. We should recognize a Bald Eagle if we are given the chance to see one resting in a field. If we can grow roses, we should!!! Thank God every day for the people we've been so fortunate to learn from, thank God for rainbows, thank God for children, thank God for shelter dogs, and thank God for bizarre formations in the clouds! Thank God for all of us, some quiet and profound, and some fabulous but secretly quiet.

I'm going to work on some novels I've written. Life played a strange game on me overall, but I'm currently stuck in the breathtaking beauty of some very ordinary things. My life has cost so much that I can't help but be taken by some precious, everyday things...

I can't sum my life up in a handful of photos, but here are some of my beloved, ordinary things...
