I am a grandmother six times over. However counting my husband's grandchildren the number gets raised to 12!
I raised my kids in Mankato and when I married Dick in 1990, I moved to Burnsville.
I worked for the State of MN for almost 20 years with my last job at the Egan exam station as a driver examiner. There is not room here for those stories. However, if I ever try stand up comedy I will not lack for material.
We retired to Tucson, AZ seven years ago and life could absolutely not be better. We are both graced with good health. I have been a hiker since I was first asked to cross the Grand Canyon in 1999 with an old college friend. Since then I have crossed four times. Living in AZ is absolutely a hikers dream. Particularly when we don't get lost.
In the summer we leave the heat and resurface at our cabin in northern WI. Webb Lake area to be a little more exact. We are volunteer firefighters in our small town which should indicate how desperate they are.
Currently I am on the board and am the social chair person for our townhouse association in Tucson. Which is another source of humor since having a working memory would REALLY be helpful.
