School Story:
When I first started playing hoops at Bloomsburg, we played with 6, yes six, players. One guard and one forward could "rove" resulting in four offensive and four defensive players on the ball end of the court. There were two guards and two forwards who could not cross the midcourt line. Confusing? Try playing the game that way. It changed to the game we all know and love my sophomore year (1970)
