I just attended an amazing concert Friday night at one of our largest churches in Naples. It was composed of trumpet players, sax, horns, drums, steel drums, soloists piano and more. All was celebrating the big bands of the 70's: CHICAGO, Three Dog Night, Elton John and many more. Fabulous!. AND..................most of the players were from Youngstown/Boardman and Joanie Johnson's DeLadurantey family! It was incredible!. Many players flew in from Boardman to participate in the show. I recognized some of the horn players as the best in the county/SW Florida. What an evening. The next night, I watched the tape on my computer. I would suggest anyone who reads this to watch it as it will bring back the best of memories. You can find it on nnchurch.org, Hard Drive HOrns 2026 Jan. 30th concert. You will really enjoy! What talent.
I heard Debbie Sprinkle was there but I didn't get to see her as it was very crowded.
Joanie can probably share better than I can. However, just start watching it on your computer. I bet you will remember every song. Joanie, please tell your family thank you for such a super evening.
