I won't bore you to death with my life story but here is a preview.I have two children that are my life and a wonderful husband that I have been married to for, well June will be 21 years.WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My daughter has been pretty healthy her whole life but when my son was born he was very sick.He was born with gastroschisis which means his intestines were on the outside of his belly.He was taken to Childrens Hospital as soon as he was born and had his first surgery when he was about an hour old.He's had about 25 surgeries on his belly to this date.He had a feeding tube until he was 13.After that he was in pretty good health until this past Christmas.He started losing weight real qiuck and could'nt eat without hurting.We took him to his doctor at Childrens hospital and they ran some test to see what was going on and found a blockage in the intestines.He had surgery on Dec.28 had another on Jan.13 and the latest on Feb 4.We were there for over a month.He has a feeding tube once again but the doctors are saying maybe it will be a short term deal this time. I have a saying that I tell myself all the time when I get down, "As bad as things are or have been it can always be worse,just go to the Childrens hospital one day and look around and you will always see a child that is sicker than your own." We have lived by this saying for many years. I just thought I would share this with you all because we don't know what each one of us have been thru over the last 20 years. Now that I have shared this with you all, share your story with me.
