When in school, it seemed impossible to imagine myself at 40 years old, never mind, 55! But now that I have reached that point, I can honestly say that I love this life of mine and feel blessed that all the journies I have taken have ultimately lead me here. I have done many things in life, but am currently the happiest I've ever been, working for myself and projecting goals that I WILL accomplish! Connie's Cookery, my new DBA was officially launched in October 2010, and it causes me tears of gratitude each and every day! Cooking great food and being appreciated for it is the essence of my being. I especially love to do this for the elderly, the shut-ins, and the loners. There is nothing more gratifying than bringing a smile to someones' face who sits alone waiting for me to arrive. So- a personal chef is my calling now and I thank this universe for bringing me here.

I actually really loved school ( for the most part) and am glad that I went to Onteora. It is a great school! I particularly remember the great music teachers we had (Mr. Simon, Mr. Proper) and loved my English classes with Rudi Hopkins, Don Loprino. It was an exciting time and values were being seriously looked at as "times they were a changing"! Though I never went to a high school dance or attended a football game- ( as I was always working at my parents' lodge) I have very fond memories of all else that Onteora gave me. I would personally like to thank those who put this site together, for the re-connections I have made are nothing less than AMAZING!
