I went to college at Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, Utah. I graduated in 1988 with a degree in Elementary Education. I married Kirk Smith in 1988 and moved to St George, Utah. I taught school for 5 years in Washington County School District. We lived in St George for 12 years then my husbands company moved us to Mesa, Arizona for 3 years. After Arizona we moved again to Denton, Texas where we have lived for the past 10 years. I have been a Stay at Home mom where I have been involved in PTA, Football and Tennis Booster clubs,and other organizations my children have been involved in. I currently work with the young women organization in my church. For fun, I play competitive tennis in women's leagues around the DFW Metroplex.
