Erik Johansen and his friend lockered right next to me at Centerville Jr High in the 7th grade. He was always so happy and fun to be around. I have so much admiration for Erik and his family. I have gotten to know the Johansen family through my husband. I too was very saddened to hear of Erik's passing. I know that he was truly blessed. I am a better person today because I knew Erik! Rest in Peace~

I experienced a skip in breath after seeing this. I did not know Erik passed away. I'll never forget his bright eyes.

Erik was a great big bundle of energy, humor and talent in a small body. I actually was able to get to know him better after high school. He was smart, witty and enjoyable to talk to. He will forever be missed.

Erik had so much energy and enthusiasm. He seemed to always see the good things around him and reflected a positive attitude no matter what his circumstances. He had a wonderful smile!

I had no idea about this. I sure wish I could have attended the service. Erik was a really good friend growing up. I have a lot of very fond memories of him.

Erik and I were mere acquaintences during high school. I didn't see him again until 1993 when we were working at JC Penney. I told him he should come perform with me up at the Pages Lane Theatre (now Rodgers Memorial). After that we became great friends. Performing in many shows together, forming a comedy improv troupe that performed at Rodgers Memorial Theatre in Centerville and Terrace Plaza Playhouse in Ogden. I miss him dearly.
