School Story:
Wow - did I hate High School. Never quite felt like I fit in or belonged. Headed to UMBC after graduation and played for 3 years. Had a blast! Cost my parents a lot of money for me to party my butt off. I started working for Hechinger's the summer of '79 and worked part time until I left school. In '82 I went fulltime and worked as a bookkeeper, and office manager and a front end supervisor. Met my husband (who was engaged to be married and I was also) in '84 and was married in 1985. We moved from Baltimore in '91 to Upper Marlboro and stayed there until '04, when we sold our house (thank you Mr. Appechella), sold my Mom's home in Bowie (43 years) and moved to Lewes, DE. I homeschooled my kids for many years and then re-entered the working world. Became the Executive Director for the Tourette Syndrome Association of Greater Washington in Silver Spring. Telecommuted for 2 years while living in DE before my husband and I started our own General Contracting business - Castle Care, Inc.
Life is wonderful. The boys are 21 and 18 and Shana is 31 and trying to get pregnant.
As always, looking forward to the next chapter!
