Be afraid...I became an Air Traffic Controller. I retired from the FAA in late 2009. Since then I became a mercenary (in it for the money). I spent 3 years in Afghanistan in support of operation Wnduring Freedom, 2 in Northern Iraq (Kurdistan) 2 more in the UAE (Dubai) and now I am where civilization started...Baghdad...Mesopotamia...or whatever you want to call it. Life is full of surprises. The world we grew up to know is not the world that exists today. I have seen this side of the world and have become friends with people from many different cultures. And the ride isn't over yet...there's still places to see and people to meet and get to know. One of my few regrets...not keeping in touch with those I grew up with
