In Kansas teaching my veterinary students how to work on alpacas. I don't know how I ended up doing alpacas, but I do a tremendous amount of work with them now. I have the great fortune to work with cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, pigs, the occasional camel or giraffe and, best of all, veterinary students. Best job in the world.

With my friends at the Oklahoma State Homecoming last year. I got to watch Oklahoma State (where I went to school) beat Kansas State (where I teach). I frequent Stillwater Oklahoma during football season.

I spent 2 weeks in Mongolia in September 2007 teaching Mongolian veterinarians camel medicine and surgery in the Gobi Desert.

I went on a humanitarian mission trip to southern Mexico in the Summer of 2007. I also had the opportunity to take medicine and vaccines down and do some veterinary work.

My students, Ronald and I at the American Royal Birthing Center in Kansas City. We have baby chicks and a sow with piglets at the center where we have the opportunity to teach hundreds of kids about agriculture.
