Marilyn Silvers Ankney, Plummer

After High School I attended ISU for my teaching degree and loved teaching school for 29 years. I married Glen Ankney from Mishawaka, IN and we loved our family life. I retired at 58 because of Glen's cancer. Glen and I lived in Fl for two years before he died. In 2003, I married Jim Plummer a teacher/coach who was originally from Brazil (BHS 1956). After Jim's retirement in Kokomo, we moved to Spring Hill, FL to live in a golf etc. retirement community during winter months. We return to Brazil during the summer to visit family in IN. Our trips back & forth to IN and FL give us an opportunity to visit son Doug in Newnan, GA. We love playing golf, cards and being with our family and friends. We attend The Christian Church and feel blessed with our health and happiness.

I remember friends, ballgames, slumber parties, sending notes, giggles, laughter, working, dating,
school dances, emotional tramas and growing up. I remember teachers making an impression about life to me. I remember school loyalty.
