Comments:
I started working for Public Service shortly after graduating. In 1961 I married Marvin Buck from Brazil, a school teacher. We had our first son (Ted) in July 1963. Another son (Tony) was born in 1967. In 1965 we moved to Rockville, IN, where we resided until February of this year when we moved back to Brazil.
For six years (72-78) I ran a golf pro shop at Parke Co. Golf Course while Marvin was the Superintendent/pro. From 1978 until I retired in 2004 I worked for First Financial Bank.
We have been blessed with two wonderful daughter-in-laws.and four great granchildren. Our oldest, Chelsea is in college at Bellerman College in Louisville, Ky, studing to be a nurse, Ashlen was voted as the MVP as a freshman on the Northwiew Volleyball team in 2008, Kandice is a gymnast and has received many gold metals in the vault and unven bars and was all round Kentucky state champion in 2007. Our grandson, Clayton, who attends Jackson Township plays baseball, basketball and football.
Marvin and I have been married for 47 years. We have been blessed and been able to travel this great country from one end to the other.
Several years ago I was being questioned as a witness in a custody suit and a question was asked of me, " Mrs Buck, I understand you have a job other than working in a bank. I answeared, I don't know what you mean. He replied, aren't you an Easter Bunny at Easter? He asked the question because the man had brought the children alone to the Bunny breakfast.
