Blake Pettigrew

This site is great. I have been on it for hours. Where to begin. After BAHS I attended the University of Oklahoma and 4.5 years later woke up and somehow I had graduated. I vaguely remember seeing several of you there. Mainly Kelly Roberts who seemed to be out as often as I was. Since the city of Norman made me leave, I have lived in Seattle, OKC, Dallas, OKC, Aspen, Las Vegas, Denver, and finally settled in a little town named Southlake,TX. My brother and I own a sports marketing company. It is fun. I have been married 4 1/2 years and have two beautiful girls that make me smile everyday.

There are so many good memories. I did stand shortless in Hardees the day of our walkout, that Brian Kennedy referred to. Another that stands out, wrecking Belinda Buckners car trying to show her and Curt Matzkevech how to drive from the backseat...possibly the dumbest thing I ever did. Sorry Belinda!!! And I remember pool parties, every year! My mom still has nightmares and I still have great memories. I remember a spring break where we had 10 people loaded in my dads Suburban and we headed for South Padre. Very Smart! Apparently someone had been stealing from Tom Mancino and he was pissed. He popped the fella and it was all over. I never knew Tom had that in him. And then I saw his pics of Iraq. Thank you Tom for serving. After reading Shae's stories from BAHS, I have to say I feel really bad. I was the one who "hit" Shae in the parking lot. I thought he was fine but apparently he did have some kind of amnesia. I did tell him that myself and my witness remember him jumping on the hood of my car. His story is true but there is two sides to it. I kept asking myself for 20 years, "Why would Shae jump on my car?" Now I know. For the story. I hope we can make the reunion and see you all!
