Lisa Fuller Sparrow

I graduated from CSU with a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science. I taught elementary PE for 3 years in Hudson, CO while getting my master's degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Emporia State University. After having my daughter, I stopped teaching full time. I now teach K-12 PE 2 days a week for a homeschool program during the school year. In the fall I am the assistant gymnastics coach at Overland High School. I spend most of my time working for the city of Aurora's Gymnastics Program coaching, training instructors, and assisting with many areas in the program. Cody is an estimator for a construction company and we live in Aurora.

I don't know that I have a favorite school story, but as I spend lots of time with kids that go to huge high schools, I am thankful for the opportunity I had to go to a small school and participate in such a wide variety of sports and activities. While larger schools offer so much, it seems like the kids have to pick one or two things to be part of. Buena Vista High School was a great school and I am proud to say I graduated from there!
